Ahoy Everyone,
Its hard to believe that another season is winding down. I hope everyone hadsuccessful trips and didn’t have to deal with the winds that we had in Frankfort. This is a year of winds that I will be glad to forget.
I would like to remind you that our next Fall Meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn West Bay in Traverse City, Oct.15th-17th. Jim Fenner and the board has been working hard to put together another informative agenda for our annual business meeting. We start out Friday night with our social gathering. Captain John Giszczak goes all out to make sure everyone has plenty to eat and drink. (and has promised to have plenty of COKE this year) ha ha. I look forward to seeing many of you there. MCBA is always looking for ways to promote our association and the charter in- dustry and by attending the Fall Meeting this will be a great way to give your ideas to the Board, Officers and Members.
I had the honor of presenting the MCBA Scholarship Award to Jeff Krebs this year. Jeff would like to thank the association for “literally helping me achieve one of my life goals and beyond that, one of my dreams. It feels absolutely amazing to receive this honor”.
In conclusion I would like to remind you that if you need to reach me I am only as far away as your phone.
