A Million Dollars to Market Michigan Charter Boats

Great news! The Great Lakes Fishery Commission’s outreach campaign is set to get underway soon, with an anticipated launch date of March 20. Soon and throughout the summer you (and travelers all over Michigan) will see billboards; advertisements at welcome centers, airports and gas stations; other signage; special events; and more activities that will promote charter fishing on the Great Lakes. Lansing-based Güd Marketing welcomes the chance to partner with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to promote one of Michigan’s most important tourist industries through social, paid and news coverage media. Charter captains will receive a “Tacklebox” of digital assets for use on their own advertising platforms (email, social media, etc.) to encourage clients to contact them and get out on the water!
