! Important Information regarding Cares Act II Eligibility – Dexter
For businesses that may be eligible to apply for CARES Act II funding, special attention should be paid to the ability to apply for two distinct time periods between March 24, 2020 and December 31, 2021. Each chosen period must be for a minimum of 28 consecutive days (likely a single month).
For example, a business may not meet the 35% loss threshold if they look at revenue as compared to the 5-year average from 2015-2019 for January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. However, if they specifically look at the period from April 1, 2021 to May 31, 2021, as an example, revenues may have been down for those months and the 35% loss threshold met. Applicants may then apply for assistance for those impacted months.
